Muhammad T. Shehu – Assistant National PRO

MUHAMMAD T. SHEHU was born in Jigawa State brought up in Kano State. He had his early primary education at Bebeji Nomadic primary School, Bebeji, Buji local Government, Jigawa State. He proceeded to Government Senior Secondary School Aujara/Jahun, Jigawa State for his secondary education and later, The ICT University Yaoundé, Cameroon where he obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Information Communication Technology.

He also attended the Informatics Institute of Information Technology Kazaure, (an affiliate of Informatics Academy Singapore) for an International Diploma in Computing, and an International Advanced Diploma in computing respectively. He is currently pursuing Google Data Analytics Professional Course.

Muhammad has worked with Jigawa State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB), Kano State Internal Revenue Service (KIRS), Buhari Support Organizations (BSO), a Presidential campaign organization that brought President Buhari to power, Graduate Trainee at OML34 Edjeba Warri, an asset of Nigerian Petroleum Development Company (NPDC), Benin, and ND Western Lagos.

He also worked voluntarily (online) with International Institutions: United Nations Division for Public Institutions and Digital Government (DPIDG, E-Government Survey), International Telecommunication Union (ITU), Geneva, Technology Exchange Lab, Inc. Cambridge, Massachusetts, Energy Globe Foundation GmbH, Austria respectively. He is currently a Programme Analyst at the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria, (NAHCON).

Muhammad has had the privilege to be trained by several local institutions such as the National Intelligence Agency (NIA), Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Citizenship & and Leadership Training Centre Mountain School, Shere Hills, Jos, Anti-corruption Academy of Nigeria (ACAN) an Institutions of the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission ICPC), Institute of Administration ABU, Zaria and Vision Media Services Limited, Abuja.

His core areas of expertise are social media management, community development, e-governance, managing digital data, Fintech, digital research survey, and use of technology for youth development.

He is currently an Assistant National PRO, Arewa Development Support Initiative (ADSI), a nonprofits organization that’s working tirelessly to rebuild the Arewa region for all, regardless of one’s political inclination, religious beliefs or tribal sentiments, he is ADSI Jigawa state youths, leader.

His primary interests include the promotion of good governance and public service, the use of ICT as a solution provider for unemployment and women empowerment for the sustenance of societal values. Also, he has an interest in humanitarian work, innovation, volunteer work and a wide range of sports.
