Secondary school – 1975.
NCE – 1980
BSc Sociology/Economics – BUK – 1989.
Worked at HADEJA JAMA’ARE RIVER BASIN DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY. Rose to Secretary Management Board, Secretary Management Tenders Board & served in many Committees.
Founded an NGO- ILMI DA SANA’A ( EDUCATION AND SKILLS ) 2004, that caters for widows and children of the lower-income strata. We return children back to school, find support for them and taught the women skills they could trade in for an income.
Led a working committee that planned and executed an Educational Workshop for all 19 Northern States and Abuja for WOMEN IN DAAWA. Served in various capacities in my Teacher’s College Alma Mata Association.
I sit on the Board of our local Foundation in my area of the city of Kano with the Accountant General Alh. Ahmed Idris as our Chairman. I am a founding member of AREWA DEVELOPMENT SUPPORT INITIATIVE & now a sitting Deputy Coordinator Kano State Chapter.
I founded a new association – WOMEN IN EXPORT- which is now in its infancy stage.
