Mrs. Hafsat Hayatudeen – Vice President

Mrs. Hafsat Hayatudeen attended St. Louis Secondary School, Kano and graduated from Bayero University Kano in 1983 with BA Education /Political Science.

 

She worked with the Ministry of Commerce & Industry between 1983 and 1984; and

Kaduna State Ministry of Education from 1886 to 1989.

 

She later went into private business in 1991. Her business lines included:

 

  1. Computer training school /sales/services
  2. Make-up Artist- Justine Product (South Africa) sales representative
  3. Founder/CEO of Something New Limited in 1997, a limited liability company that started as a fashion/ boutique.

 

⁃ With the advent of GSM 2001, Something New Limited (SNL) obtained a license from NCC to deal with telecommunications products.

 

The Company secured dealership of GSM products/services from MTM Nigeria, 2001.

 

⁃ In the same year, the Company was appointed Country Importers/Manufacturer’s Representatives for Tahitian Noni Liquid Dietary Supplement, a multi-level health product, manufactured in Provo, Utah, the USA with over 20,000 distributors nationwide from 2001 to 2012 (www.morinda.com).

 

In 2019, Hafsat co-founded Arewa Development Support Initiative, an NGO, founded by Khuraira (cosmetics) that supports capacity building for indigent citizens, where she serves as the Vice President.

 

Hafsat is now a farmer.
